This June, we’re celebrating Pride Month in partnership with The Trevor Project, championing LGBTQ+ youth and the power of community.
At Glasshouse Fragrances, we believe in love without limits, and that includes creating a world where everyone feels safe, supported, and seen. This Pride Month, we’re proud to announce our partnership with The Trevor Project, the leading suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ+ young people.
A SCENTED CELEBRATION WITH PURPOSE
From June 1 to June 30, for every purchase that includes an item from our Core Collection, we’ll donate $5 to The Trevor Project*. That means your favorite fragrances are doing more than just scenting your space, they’re helping fund life-saving support for LGBTQ+ youth across the country.
*Minimum donation $1,000
ABOUT THE TREVOR PROJECT
Founded in 1998, The Trevor Project has become the world’s largest organization dedicated to LGBTQ young people and their mental health. Their 24/7 services connect trained counselors with young people in crisis, providing immediate, affirming support when it’s needed most.
But The Trevor Project does more than respond to crises. Through research, advocacy, education, and community-building, they’re creating systemic change and spreading hope nationwide. Whether it’s advancing inclusive policies or empowering youth to share their stories, The Trevor Project is a beacon of resilience and pride.
This year, The Trevor Project’s theme for Pride is Pride Belongs Here. This Pride campaign reminds LGBTQ+ young people and allies alike that no matter where they live, they deserve to feel pride in who they are. Pride is here to stay, even if we don’t all celebrate the same way. By showing up as allies and supporters, we’re signaling to LGBTQ+ young people everywhere they are valued and have community, no matter where they’re from. Pride is more than a celebration, it’s a commitment to ensuring LGBTQ+ young people know that they’re not alone.
HISTORY OF PRIDE
As we approach Pride and celebrate our partnership with The Trevor Project, we acknowledge the importance of understanding its history. You may have heard the phrase, the first Pride was a riot, referencing the Stonewall Uprising on June 28, 1969. It wasn’t the first act of resistance, but it sparked a new era of LGBTQ+ activism. Since then, every June, the LGBTQ+ community has marched with Pride to honor the past and fight for the future.
Ten years after the Stonewall Uprising, Pride flags were created and immediately became powerful symbols of identity, unity, and visibility. While the rainbow flag is widely known, many LGBTQ+ identities have their own, each with a unique meaning and history, and even the universal Pride flag has evolved to be more inclusive, reflecting the beautiful diversity of LGBTQ+ identities.
LOVE LOUD. SHOP PROUD.
This Pride Month, we invite you to join us in making a difference. Whether you’re stocking up on your signature scent or discovering a new summer favorite, your purchase can help provide hope and healing to those who need it most. Pride is about more than parades and parties, it’s about showing up, speaking out, and supporting one another.
With your help, we’re honored to support The Trevor Project’s mission and celebrate the vibrancy and strength of the LGBTQ+ community.
